problem with fluka 2011.2.17 64bit (core dump)

Dear developer,

We seem to hit a problem (or limitation?) with the 64bit version of 2011.2.17 (possibly with 2.16 too, but cannot confirm). The same input is processed just fine with the 32 bit version (of same 2.17).

The final goal is to have a functional Fluka version running on a Debian/squeeze cluster. This is a shared production system so the forced installations of g77 weren't very appealing, leaving us one option only - getting the gfortran based 64bit release to build and work. If there are other alternatives that I'm ignoring, I'd be very happy to try them (thanks!).

Any help/suggestion/comment is very welcome!

Here are the details of the impasse:

- Both cases use the very same input file (attached below)
- Case A: RHEL5 64bit, g77 3.4.6, local make from fluka2011.2-linuxAA.tar.gz - runs OK
- Case B: Ubuntu 11.04 64bit, gfortran 4.5.2, local make from fluka2011.2-linux-gfor64bit-gcc451-AA.tar.gz - end in core dump
- (can't test fluka32bit on Ubuntu for lack of g77, neither fluka64bit on RHEL5 for lack of gfortran >=4.4)

- The Case B configuration is run as "nohup $FLUPRO/flutil/rfluka -N0 -M10 BoosterExtDCSpSideShdB1B2F30PShdArcShdBDBFBDSS2_VC.inp > log1 &" and results in a core dump.

- The log file of cycle 1 (BoosterExtDCSpSideShdB1B2F30PShdArcShdBDBFBDSS2_VC001.log) contains these lines:
