RE: [fluka-discuss]: Installing, g77 , lfluka command not found

Hi

do not work in /media but go to your home directory and install FLUKA there: create a dedicated directory, unpack the .tar.gz file, define FLUPRO and type make (you do not need to issue explicitly the command lfluka, that by the way in flutil has to be typed as "./lfluka" and not "lfluka")

Ciao

Francesco

Dear Anna and Forum :

I tried again but it seems still not working,

lee_at_lee-BM2320:/$ echo $FLUPRO
/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka
lee_at_lee-BM2320:/$ cd $FLUPRO
lee_at_lee-BM2320:/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka$ cd flutil
lee_at_lee-BM2320:/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka/flutil$ lfluka -m fluka
lfluka: command not found
lee_at_lee-BM2320:/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka/flutil$ make
/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka/flutil/fff -N actdline.f
make: execvp: /media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka/flutil/fff: 拒絕不符權限的操作
make: *** [actdline.o] Error 127
lee_at_lee-BM2320:/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka/flutil$ sudo make
makefile:2: /makeflags: 沒有此一檔案或目錄
make: *** No rule to make target `/makeflags'. Stop.
lee_at_lee-BM2320:/media/lee/92385F23385F061F/fluka/flutil$

please advise me.
Thanks in advance

Lee

Dear Lee,

I don't know if I can help you but let's try... Please follow the first option in the instructions of Paola: from the $FLUPRO directory (you must link there, don't move), issue the command with the complete path:

$FLUPRO/flutil/lfluka -m fluka

once you have defined FLUPRO.
In general it's not necessary to give the complete path, if now it works it could mean that you have some problem with the definition of your PATH enviromental variable (due to deeper problems... what is by the way the output of echo $PATH? ) and then you have always to specify the complete path. If it does not work then you could really have permission problems (not so probable, but in that case check it...).

Hope it somehow helps,
all the best,
Anna
