Dear Antonio,

At the energy you are interested in, deuteron-nucleus reactions are not (yet) available in FLUKA. For higher energies, deuteron-nucleus interactions can be simulated by means of RQMD, which needs to be explicitly link ($FLUPRO/flutil/ldpmqmd) when generating the executable.

Hi

My name is Antonio and I'm trying to simulate a neutron source with FLUKA (fluka2011.2b-linux-gfor64bitAA) via flair(version 1.2-3). However I don't get neutrons, and I don't know why. I am new to FLUKA, downloaded 2 days ago.
I guess that I'm possibly missing some physics cards to produce the neutrons, and for this reason I added "PART-THR" for the cut off energy of the neutrons and IONTRANS for the transport of deuterons. The result in any case
 is very low neutron fluence in the target (USRBIN) where the neutrons are supposed to be produced. I haven't been lucky trying to find literature relevant to this calculation and for that reason I thought that asking your opinion was my best choice.
