Dear Terry

Yes and no. It can do all but consider the change of sample composition with time, e.g., FLUKA does not simulate neutron interactions on produced radionuclides.

Cheers

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Neutron Activation Analysis Using Fluka

Hello,

Can FLUKA be used to irradiate a sample with a given neutron spectrum and fluence for a given period of time, determine depletion (activation?) chain of the sample, then model a detector and determine the resultant Gamma spectrum?

Regards,
