Dear Tanay,

As you are setting the transport threshold in terms of total electron/positron energy, this threshold evidently needs to lie above the rest energy (0.511 MeV). You could also set the threshold in terms of kinetic energy (negative WHAT(1) on EMFCUT card), but then the threshold should also not be lower than 1 keV.

Cheers, Anton

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Unknown error while running CMS geometry

Dear Fluka experts,

I am simulating the original CMS geometry in fluka with p-p collision at 3500 GeV.
This is what the error file is showing.

*** Invalid e+/e- total energy transport threshold 0.00000001 GeV ***
Abort called from EMFCTS reason INVALID E+E- TRANSPORT CUT Run stopped!
 STOP INVALID E+E- TRANSPORT CUT

Please help me understand this error so that I can proceed for the required debugging.

Thank you in advance,
Tanay Bansal.
