Fluka is OK for the purpose you mention. I don't know about GEANT.

Subject: Electron Backscatter from a Proton Beam on Copper

Dear Alberto Fasso,

I wish to simulate the electron emission (by energy and angle) from a block of copper irradiated by a beam of protons. The proton energies range from 6 to 250 MeV and I am interested in the electron energies above 10 eV. Would you recommend FLUKA or GEANT4 or some other code or set of equations. I will have to validate my solution against measurements. Can you suggest a benchmark experiment?

I look forward to your response. Thank you,
