HI
I had the same problem some FLUKA expert from FLUKE-discussion group referred me the following site.
http://conquer-ur-computer.blogspot.ca/2011/02/g77-offline-installation-for-all-ubuntu.html
Down load g77 from this site and install it. It worked for me.
