Hello!
I want to calculate the yield of helium-6 in the 7Li(g, p) reaction
using electron bremsstrahlung. Yield of helium-6 = 1.52 x10^7 +/-22.53 %
and yield Of protons = 3.9 × 10^8 +/-7.981 % to 1 mA. Therefore, I have
following questions:
> 1) We expect that yield of helium-6 will be more, because we are now
> Experimentally obtain about 4.5 x 10^7 helium-6 for 1 mA. Also, I'm
> Interested in the fact that yield of protons and helium-6 so very
> different.
> Why is this so?
Also, I was advised to calculate the cross-section of this reaction by
mgdraw.f, but I did not succeed.What is the reason?
Thanks in advance !!!
