[fluka-discuss]: Crash while scoring with usrtrack with new GeV/A setting

Dear FLUKA experts,

First, thanks for the latest FLUKA respin with the availability to score USRTRACK in GeV/A. It provides a significant save in simulation time and data processing!

However, a sporadic issue occurs while running a simulation with the feature activated (using the dummy usrtrack card). The error message appears in the .log file and reads:

"At line 3958 of file usrsco.f
Fortran runtime error: Index '0' of dimension 1 of array 'ibheav' below lower bound of 1"

As this occurs in an attempt to retrieve the atomic mass number of a particle, it could have something to do with the scoring in GeV/A as compared with the original scoring in GeV.

I attach an input card in which the fault typically appears.

Best regards,
Staffan Engdahl
