I did some study about the dose comparison between MCNP and FLUKA in a simple case. 200 nA, 230 MeV proton hits a Copper target, surrounded by concrete tunnel. Strangely the dose increases first at the beginning ~40 cm in concrete shield in MCNP, however this doesn’t happen in FLUKA. I attached the output file and mesh tally file of MCNP. I don’t know whether I made a mistake…
The first two figures belong to MCNP and the last one belongs to FLUKA. Dose anybody knows why it is like this?
