Dear Users,

I want to calculate the energy loss of charged particles in P10(90% Ar + 10% CH4) gas
absorber inside the proportional counter of the dimension 600 cm long and 10 cm x 10 cm
cross section. I am simply using the landau distribution taken from root math library.
But by using this the energy loss distribution is narrower than the experimental pulse
height distribution.
Can anyone please tell me how I can increase the width of the simulated energy loss
distribution?

Kind Regards
