Dear Nkanyiso,

all quantities in the decay part of the calculation are expressed per unit time pSv/s.
In the prompt part of the calculation are expressed as pSv/primary

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: USRBIN DOSE-EQ units

Dear FLUKA users,

I have a confusion with the units of the USRBIN DOSE-EQ scoring detector.

I have set the USRBIN DOSE-EQ scoring detector associated with DCYSCORE in Semi-analogue mode since I want to score prompt-decay particles, and I have also defined the irradiation profile using IRRPROFIle card.

So I'm confused if my units for DOSE-EQ should be in pSv per unit primary weight, since my DCYSCORE is in Semi-analogue mode, or they are expressed in pSv/s, since I have define the irradiation profile.

And if the units are expressed in pSv per unit primary weight, can I just multiply with my beam current (in prim/s) to get pSv/s, or I should multiply with the total particle statistical weight, which is the number of events requested, to get pSv.

Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Regards,
Nkanyiso R. Mantengu.
