Apparently, something has changed in the default behaviour of the kernel in fedora
that is used for the flupix generation and it requires to Enable the I/O APIC

Inside Virtualbox go to the configuration of the "System" and check
the "Enable I/O APIC"

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Unable to start flupix-2011.2c-5_flair-2.2-5

Dear Fluka user/experts,

Two weeks ago, I've downloaded the last flupix version
(flupix-2011.2c-5_flair-2.2-5) and I tried to launch it via VirtualBox
(V5.1.14) with the recommended settings from flupix tutorial
(http://www.fluka.org/content/tools/flupix/index.html). I'm on Windows
7. (Cf. flupix_config_bug.png)

Unfortunately, I have a black screen on startup. (Cf.
flupix_startup_bug.png)

I tried on 3 different computers and get the same symptom. I had to go
back to the last working version I had on my computer
(flupix-2011.2c-4_flair-2.2-1) and it works well.

Anyone had trouble with the new flupix version?

Best regards,

Thibaut
