Hi Haoyu
isn't it normal to be half your R-Phi-Z is half of the Z of the region
e.g your layer1 region extends from -6.25 to 6.2 in Z
while your 81 USRBIN is from 0 to 6.25
The same for 82
Cheers
Vasilis

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Why "R-phi-Z" and "Region" didn't get same results in USRBIN?
Dear FLUKA Experts,
I'm simulating the detector backgrounds. The detector is a cylinder with 0.005cm in thickness and 6.25 cm in length and made by silicon. Some electrons/positrons generate by a source file would pass the detector, and I want to get the DOSE in the detector. So I used a USRBIN card with "Region" mode and the other with "R-phi-Z" mode, both particle types was "DOSE". And the last card, I set only 1 bin in R,Phi and Z. So, to my knowledge, these two cards should get the same result. But not, the second one is almost 2 times than the first one. What's the reason for this?
The input file and the source file have been attached.
Any help or comment would be appreciated.
Regards,
Haoyu
