Hello
I suggest that you use one of the built-in means to sample from isotropic distributions. Please see

PS: Did you define ‘pi’ in your case?

Dear fluka experts:
I want to use fortran code to write an isotropic source,the code like this:
real theta,thi
real ubeam,vbeam,wbeam
theta=flrndm(xdummy)*pi
thi=flrndm(xdummy)*2*pi
ubeam=sin(theta)*cos(thi)
vbeam=sin(theta)*sin(thi)
wbeam=cos(thi)
but this seems not work well,i hope you can help me!
best regards
