Re: [fluka-discuss]: error in mgdraw.f compilation coming from (FHEAVY) file

Dear Cristina,

the (FHEAVY) file you are using is definitely not the original one, rather
it got heavily corrupted and clearly meaningless (unintentionally I
suppose). Download again the FLUKA package in order to restore it.

Coming to your final goal, be aware that with your procedure you will
never see fission fragments generated in turn by low energy neutrons,
since they are not explicitly transported in the context of the multigroup
treatment. Moreover, in order to intercept the others (e.g. the ones
directly generated by beam protons), you need to ask for their transport
with IONTRANS as well as to lower as much as possible (i.e. down to 250
eV/n) their transport threshold, by means of a PART-THR card setting 1 keV
(*total* kinetic energy) for 4-HELIUM (the threshold of alpha particles is
automatically applied to all heavier nuclei, in terms of kinetic energy
per nucleon; that's why 1 keV for alphas means 250 eV/n for all).

Cheers

Francesco
