Update, sorry for my too-quick reply.
I understood that I got the number of total photons generated per mAs which I can use to normalize the USRBIN dose scoring,
Thank you very much,
Alex

Subject: Re: [fluka-discuss]: Normalization of results for x-ray tube output / source.f
Dear Mario,
Thank you for your patience. As I am amateur self-learner, some basic stuff may be the hard obstacle for me. Yes, indeed sum.lis file contains spectrum integral, and also I learned that you can just choose plot value DX*Y in Flair to get the spectrum integral plotted as well.
Mario, I followed all the steps - thanks again for such detail explanation - and I got a single number - see attached jpg /xls file, I made the steps as clear as possible. Did I get wrong in step 3? Or this final number is normalization factor I should put into the flair plot? if yes, it still does not give the same result as in the source spectrum.
By the way, if the spectra shape is the same, why can't we just take scaling factor of the max value for both spectra and use it as normalization ?
Thank you again for your time,
Alex
