Dear Agnieszka,
The built-in Si 1MeV neutron-equivalent scoring already considers kaons using the damage functions for pions. So there is no need to add them in addition.
Cheers, Anton

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: kaons in equivalent fluence
Dear Fluka users,
for the neutron equivalent fluence protons, pions, neutrons are taken
into account. What about kaons? I'm studying proton-proton collisions at
LHC energies, 8% of particles are charged kaons. Since we have no damage
function for kaons, we can use pion one. But am I right saying, that in
the default Si 1 neq scoring in Flair these kaons are not considered?
And I should add them to be more precise?
Regards,
Agnieszka
