Dear Carmona,
as you already mentioned, and since you are already using the source.f routine, you can set NOMORE=1.
So instead of increasing the number of primaries, you can set it to a "maximum" and then stop the run given a condition that you set in the source routine. When you set NOMORE=1 the run will stop.
Hope this helps
Kind regards
Lefteris

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Modify NCASES value during the simulation
Dear FLUKA experts,
I am performing a simulation with a source.f routine and I would like to
arbitrarily increase the number of primaries of the run (if needed). I
have tried to increase the variable NCASES from CASLIM, but the
simulation keeps on closing with the original value. Please, there is
any way to keep the simulation running and send a NOMORE=1 signal, or
change this value from the START card anywhere else?
Best regards,
Carmona
