Thank you for your fast response. I've been studying the documents, but unfortunately, given the fact that i am new to FORTRAN programming as well as new to FLUKA i have difficulties in understanding the source.f routine and how should i read and define as an uniform beam input having a file only with the flux in function of energy.

Dear Mihaela Parvu,
It is possible to define a source based on a specific flux.
To reach this purpose, you need to create a user routine “source” and activate the source card in flair.
You will be able to define the primary particles properties.
All the information can be found in the following documents:
-
https://www.fluka.org/free_download/course/triumf2012/Lectures/AdvancedSources2012.pdf is explaining how to define an user source.
-
http://www.fluka.org/web_archive/earchive/prova/att-0814/UserRoutines.pdf is more general and details how users can add specific routines in Fluka.
Once your user source routine is correctly defined, you can compile it with your fluka executable in the “compile” tab from flair.
Regards,
Thomas

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: FLUKA/FLAIR flux input
Hello,
I would like to use a table of values for flux(particles/cm^2/s) as a function of energy as input. Is it possible? If yes, I would really appreciate some help.
