Dear Alexei,
 šš this is correct. As with the other user functions, you can import in
your Flair project a template of the FRGHNS.F f function (click on
"Database") and then you should edit it according to your case.
When you create the executable, your customized function overrides
the default function which is dummy and only return 0.
In this case there is no a specific flag to activate the call
(as for FRFNDX.F or USRMED for example).

The surface roughness is used to calculate diffusion and reflection
and you should set the diffusion and reflection coefficients
with the OPT-PROP card (SDUM=metal for reflection and SDUM=blank
for diffusion coefficient): you should know these coefficients
from literature. In Fluka, for scintillation light, only monochromatic
photons are considered, with a maximum of 3 diff erent lines: you
should also define a wavelenght interval, with a central value
to which the optical properties refer to.
