Dear FLUKA experts,

Firstly, I am a complete beginner learning how to use FLUKA through Flair on my own. I have 2 separate questions that are not related:

1) I am trying to produce a LET curve vs depth in a phantom target composed of multiple distinct elemental slabs (regions defined by inserted cutplanes through various target depths) that are perpendicular to the beam direction. I know I'll have to use the USRYIELD card, but I do not know what to input to get the LET curve throughout the entire target. The target is surrounded by air.

Here, my input is:

*...+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6....+....7....+....

*USRYIELD 123. PROTON -50. TARGET AIR Yield1

*USRYIELD 20. 0.0 500. 0.016 0.0 3403. &

2) I am also trying to produce a 2D dose distribution (heat) map in the target by scoring dose in a 3D cylindrical mesh via the USRBIN card. Here, the mesh encompassed a region of 2.5 cm radius and 0.225 cm depth in which were split into 0.25 mm and 2.5 um uniformly sized bins, respectively. However, when I try to make a 2D projection, only distribution for radius 0 to 2.5 mm is shown - I need the entire dose map from -2.5 to 2.5 mm. How can this be achieved?

Here, my input is:

*...+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6....+....7....+....

USRBIN 11. DOSE -22. 2.5 0.0 0.225Dose

USRBIN 0.0 0.0 0.0 100. 900. &

Thanks in advance for any response!

Best regard,

Delmon
