Dear Felicia,

Are you sure you want to define concrete with 60% mass fraction of hydrogen?

Typical concrete contains ~1% mass fraction of hydrogen.

Regards,

George

Hello FLUKA experts,

I am new to FLUKA and would really appreciate any help.
I am trying to define concrete as follows:

MATERIAL 0.0 0.0 2.3 28.0 CONCRETE

COMPOUND -0.227915 SILICON -0.60541 HYDROGEN -0.09972 OXYGEN CONCRETE

COMPOUND -0.04986 CALCIUM -0.014245 ALUMINUM -0.00285 IRON CONCRETE

When I run my input file (attached), I get the following message:

STOP NONSENSE GAS

What's interesting is that if I increase the fraction of iron, for example:

MATERIAL 0.0 0.0 2.3 28.0 CONCRETE

COMPOUND -0.227915 SILICON -0.60541 HYDROGEN -0.09972 OXYGEN CONCRETE

COMPOUND -0.04986 CALCIUM -0.014245 ALUMINUM -0.70285 IRON CONCRETE

, the code runs just fine...

Does anybody know what causes such message and how to solve it...?

Regards,

Felicia
