[fluka-discuss]: Question about Moliere theory in FLUKA

Dear FLUKA experts,

I'm trying to understand FLUKA's multiple scattering model. Looking at "An
improved multiple scattering model for charged particle transport,"
(Ferrari, et al, 1992) in FLUKA the Moliere multiple scattering
distribution goes over into the single scattering cross section at angles
larger than a certain angle.

Is the single scattering cross section used for this purpose in the small
angle approximation (ala equation 18) or is it the full cross section (ala
equation 16)?

Thank you.
