Hi,

Since CSDA is an artificial average construct, what you would want to do is switch radiative fluctuations to the range by setting a high photon production threshold (e.g., 151 MeV). Other than that, you can also switch photonuclear reactions (not sure that the impact will be huge, though). The other options that you discuss relate to analogous calculations for heavier particles such as muons and ions, thus no need to worry about those.
If you then plot the 1-D fluence plot for BEAMPART as you described, then you will see a flat function with a sharp drop starting at around 14 cm depth, which will extend beyond 14.71cm (remember CSDA is an average number not accounting for various fluctuations), but with very small probability (by the way, it might be interesting to play with the EMFCUT thresholds to see if/how they impact the tail).

As is known that 150MeV electron in Aluminium CSDA is 14.71cm. I want to calculate it by FLUKA.

To do this, I am turning off hadron elastic and inelastic reactions, turning off the MCS of primary and secondary charged hadrons, turning off FLUC and turning off production of secondary delta rays, according to the post:

One of my questions is where to find the correct result.
I try to use USRBIN energy deposition coupled with BEAMPART to calculate 150MeV electron in Aluminium CSDA range. However, the result is only about 7.5cm and is not 14.71cm as I expected. Is it the plot range setting in FLAIR problem and could you please help to check my input file. I have attached my input file and flair file in the attachment.
