By tracing events, I have pretty much been able to answer my question.
In USDRAW, I check for code 101, scan the list of secondaries, and do
not record an event that has a K+ in that list. At least, the primary
particle is gone.
In my particular case, I was about 6% short in the sum of stopped and
in-flight decay beam particles. With the interactions added in, I am
now about 3% high. I have not attempted to check on secondaries in an
event which produce other K+ particles. (They are of interest anyway.)
