Dear Andrea,

Thank you for your prompt reply. but then I am not very sure about the results. I have another run with the usrbin option changed to coordinate, however what I get now is that the dose after passing through the polyethylene is greater than before the polyethylene, which does not make much sense?

.................................
1
   R - Z binning n. 1 "DoseTg1 " , generalized particle n. 228
      R coordinate: from 0.0000E+00 to 1.0000E+00 cm, 1 bins ( 1.0000E+00 cm wide)
      Z coordinate: from 0.0000E+00 to 1.0000E-06 cm, 1 bins ( 1.0000E-06 cm wide)
      axis coordinates: X = 0.0000E+00, Y = 0.0000E+00 cm
Data follow in a matrix A(ir,iz), format (1(5x,1p,10(1x,e11.4)))

accurate deposition along the tracks requested
      this is a track-length binning
       1.4041E-05

Percentage errors follow in a matrix A(ir,iz), format (1(5x,1p,10(1x,e11.4)))

       1.9296E+01
1
   R - Z binning n. 2 "DoseTg2 " , generalized particle n. 228
      R coordinate: from 0.0000E+00 to 1.0000E+00 cm, 1 bins ( 1.0000E+00 cm wide)
      Z coordinate: from 1.0000E+01 to 1.0000E+01 cm, 1 bins ( 1.0000E-06 cm wide)
      axis coordinates: X = 0.0000E+00, Y = 0.0000E+00 cm
Data follow in a matrix A(ir,iz), format (1(5x,1p,10(1x,e11.4)))

accurate deposition along the tracks requested
      this is a track-length binning
       8.9617E-05

Percentage errors follow in a matrix A(ir,iz), format (1(5x,1p,10(1x,e11.4)))

       3.7753E+00

...........................................................
I will expect the dose to be attenuated after passing through the polyethylene, and I have scored the neutron fluence by USRBDX card, and the fluence is reduced. So I am not sure how to interpret the results. Any suggestion?

thank you again!

Sherry
