2nd Fluka Advanced Course and Workshop

Requirements:

Prior Knowledge

This is an advanced course in FLUKA and therefore participants must already be capable of performing FLUKA simulations.

Laptops

Participants are kindly requested to come with their personal laptops, where the latest versions of FLUKA and Flair are supposed to be installed and properly working. Nevertheless, a limited amount of laptops will be made available. Please check the appropriate box in the application form when registering.

Verify Installation

Verification Program: Steps:
  1. Download the program
  2. unpack unzip check_fluka.zip
    ...or...
            tar xzvf check_fluka.tgz
  3. change directory cd check_fluka
  4. execute./check_fluka.sh
The program will run a few checks and propose solutions in case of problems.
If all tests have passed it will create a summary file check_fluka.out.
Please send this output file to the course organizing committee to verify that your fluka installation is working properly.
