Subject: Bug fixing in fluka-2005.6
Dear users
I have just uploaded new tar files for Fluka-2005.6 which contain
corrections
for the following issues:
a) neutron pointwise cross section in Hydrogen when activated where
deactivated again by mistake (thanks to A.Menegolli for pointing it
out)
b) due to bugs in the NNDC database some beta emitters (3 out of
several thousands and all in the region of fission products) had some
branchings listed with 0 beta energy end point resulting in rare crashes
(see the messages on this list a few days ago by Sebastien Wurth,
thanks to him for signalling the problem) when these isotopes and
decay paths were selected during isotope evolution
c) the input preprocessor could have failed when directives were
issued at some points in geometries with body definitions
spanning several lines (thanks to Paola Sala for pointing it out)
If you are not affected by any of these bugs, you can safely avoid to
download. Please download anyway if you use isotope evolution (you could
run in the faulty beta emitters sooner or later)
Ciao
Alfredo
