[fluka-discuss]: DETECT card output conversion / online manual

Dear FLUKA experts,

I am trying to use the DETECT card to create a histogram of deposited energy
in a region.

I understand that the output file is a Fortran binary that follows a
specific pattern. The FLUKA online manual suggests to use a Fortran code
snippet (that also defines the pattern) - under Notes:
http://www.fluka.org/fluka.php?id=man_onl&sub=22

I have tried this along with opening the file (unit 1, not 17) and write it
to a file in another (unit 2). This generates an error (related to the end
of line).

Can you please provide a Fortran code snippet that can open the FLUKA run
detect output file and write the data to another in ASCII? Would it be
possible to place such snippet in the DETECT card online manual? That would
be really useful.

Thanks a lot and have a nice weekend!

Best wishes,
Timo
