Re: [fluka-discuss]: Flair plot

Dear Andrea!

Thanks for information. I followed advice of Alberto Fasso, but it led only to increase of number of messages of GEOFAR. I found in source.f for some reason the commented-out lines
        TZFLK (NPFLKA) = SQRT (ONEONE - TXFLK (NPFLKA) ** 2
     & - TYFLK (NPFLKA) ** 2)
In my opinion it does the same. Also I established DEFAULTS PRECISIO. The number of messages sharply decreased, but they are. I so understand - it is just notices of intervention of GEOFAR.
All this did not change behavior of Flair Plot. The vishum_plot60.dat and vishum_plot60.geo.dat files are created, but only the first of them is (for some reason) drawn.

Hi Vladimir,
   as a further suggestion, you can double check that the cosine directors
of your primary particle are normalized to 16 digits. See also this thread:

 Hi Vladimir,
      OK, even if your are able to visualize the geometry correctly, a
 GEOFAR error
 usually indicates a problem in the geometry. In your case you have many
 volumes and there
 can be an accuracy problem in the definition of boundaries between them.
 Inspecting the
 .err file, you find for instance this message:

   Geofar: Particle in region     2 (cell #    0) in position
 -1.000000000E-11  2.100900010E+01 6.253070334E-02

 lagain, lstnew, lsense, lsnsct  F  F  F  F
    Particle index    0 total energy   0.000000000E+00 GeV  Nsurf 0
   We succeeded in saving the particle:  current region is n.     4 (cell
 #    0)

 and see that FLUKA has problems in tracking particles from position XYZ
 to direction ABC
 by a step of S. The error position is given by the vector operation: XYZ
 + S * ABC.
 You can do the following:

 1. check the volume corresponding to the error position computed as
 above;
 2. increase as much that you can the precision in the definition of your
 geometry,
     switching maybe to free format (comma separated WHATs) to have more
 than 10 digits precision;
 3. reduce a bit WHAT(2) in GEOBEGIN (see manual): this is a parameter
 used to define
     the boundaries position while tracking and in your case the default
 might need to
     be readjusted;
 4. activate the geometry debugger around the error point ith the GEOEND
 card (see manual).

 Hope this helps!
 Andrea

      Dear Andrea!
      I do not think that it is mistakes in Fluka geometry. Calculations
      take place without mistakes.
      Mistakes generate Flair+GEOFAR.
      I can show the page of geometry Flair. There everything is correct.

                   Hi Vladimir,
                      I see that you use the geometry Red (front view) at

                   You can try "Auto" and the geometry should be
