Hi Vladimir

Did you consider what is written in the Manual Note 1 of the USRYIELD
card?

          1) While option USRBDX calculates angular distributions WITH RESPECT TO
             THE NORMAL to the boundary at the point of crossing, USRYIELD's
             distributions are calculated WITH RESPECT TO A FIXED DIRECTION (the
             beam direction, or a different direction specified by the user with
             SDUM = BEAMDEF).

The NORMAL and the beam direction coincide only at the back face of the
target, not for scoring of particles exiting laterally. You could test it
by defining a very thin region at the back end where the lateral
contribution is negligible. Here both scorings should give the same
result.

Cheers
Stefan
