Dear all,

I want to run a fluka job in batch mode. I am trying to create the bash script. To my understanding, from the very little info. in the manual on how to submit a fluka job in batch mode, the simplest script that can be written is like this:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

#! /bin/bash -l

#Grid Commands

#$ Define_Queue_Command

#$ Define_Memory_Command

#$ Define_CPU_Command

#User/fluka Commands

PATH/TO/FLUPRO/flutil/rfluka -e PATH/TO/FLUKA_EXCUTABLE -M #No_OF_RUNS PATH/TO/FLUKA_INPUT_FILE.inp

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

my questions are:

1- Is there anything missed in this small script to run fluka job in batch mode? If yes, what?

2- What is the difference between -N<run N> number of the previous run and -M<final run N> final run number? If I want to execute the job over e.g. 5 runs, should I put -M 5 or -N 5?

With my best regards,

Tamer Tolba
