Re: [fluka-discuss]: No raness or out or err files generated from fluka 2021 on a server

Hi Tamer,

the .log-file in the fluka_23617-directory complains that it can't open
(can't find?) the shared library "libgfortran.so.5" needed by flukahp.

So maybe there is some problem with your gfortran setup (at least when
you run on the commandline, I don't know if this also explains the
problem when using the queue system).

Maybe there is a mismatch between the gfortran that is set up in your
account and the one with which FLUKA was installed.

Does

gcc --version

give the version with which FLUKA is installed?

In my case, libgfortran.so.5 is in

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgfortran.so.5

and this directory is listed (among others) when I do

echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH

So you might want to make sure that the directory with libgfortran.so.5 is
listed in the environmental variable "LD_LIBRARY_PATH".

Hope this helps,

         Stefan
