Dear FLUKA experts,
I am estimating the DOSE/DOSE-EQ in a air column generated fom Pb-Bi
target contained in Aluminum container. The target is being irradiated
by 30MeV and 10 microAmp proton beam.
I am facing difficulties in interpreting the results of DOSE/DOSE-EQ
while scoring through USRBIN.
When I am estimating the DOSE without specifying the time the integrated
value is 8.77*E-7 GeV/g/pr. But, while specifying the irradiation/decay
time through IRRPROFI/DCYSCORE card, the values are different. For
example at the end of irradiation (After 10 hr of irradiation ie zero
decay time) the dose is 9.97E+5 GeV/g/pr. Similarly, for a decay time of
1 day, the dose is 3.92E+3.
I would like to understand how the dose after end of the
irradiation(after 10hr ie zero decay time) is so high than the dose
estimated without any specification of time(which is also integrated
dose after 10-hr irradiation but with no time card). Both the scores are
integrated dose. What is the meaning of integrated dose here? Input file
also attached for your reference.
With best regards,
Ravi Rawat
