let me add some additional information on this - it is possible to
request ASCII output and perform post-processing on the ASCII files
using the DaVis3D plugin of SimpleGeo. One can perform the following
post-processing steps on ASCII files:
- averaging (taking into account different weights) + statistical error
calculation
- sum (with optionally different normalization factors) of several files
which have the same spatial resolution
- ratio of 2 files which have the same spatial resolution (with
optionally different normalization factors)
- difference of 2 files which have the same spatial resolution (with
optionally different normalization factors)
- rebinning of a USRBIN
