Hi Alfredo,
Here is the ouput from your abcd questions from Debian Squeeze 64Bit:

A) x86_64

B) GNU Fortran (Debian 4.4.5-8) 4.4.5

C)
Using built-in specs.
Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../src/configure -v --with-pkgversion='Debian 4.4.5-8'
--with-bugurl=file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-4.4/README.Bugs
--enable-languages=c,c++,fortran,objc,obj-c++ --prefix=/usr
--program-suffix=-4.4 --enable-shared --enable-multiarch
--enable-linker-build-id --with-system-zlib --libexecdir=/usr/lib
--without-included-gettext --enable-threads=posix
--with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++/4.4 --libdir=/usr/lib --enable-nls

--build=x86_64-linux-gnu --host=x86_64-linux-gnu --target=x86_64-linux-gnu
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.4.5 (Debian 4.4.5-8)

D) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

With this environment Fluka compiles but the example process get killed
Immediately.

Now i also dump the corresponding ABCD for the new Ubuntu where
Everything works fine :

A) x86_64

B) GNU Fortran (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.5.2-8ubuntu4) 4.5.2

C) Using built-in specs.
COLLECT_GCC=gfortran
COLLECT_LTO_WRAPPER=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/4.5.2/lto
-wrapper
Target: x86_64-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../src/configure -v --with-pkgversion='Ubuntu/Linaro

--enable-objc-gc --disable-werror --with-arch-32=i686 --with-tune=generic
--enable-checking=release --build=x86_64-linux-gnu --host=x86_64-linux-gnu
--target=x86_64-linux-gnu
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.5.2 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.5.2-8ubuntu4)

D) x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

So if you look at the two dumps , it is pretty similar setup besides of the
version (4.5 or 4.4). Since you also used gfrotran 4.5 and Fedora, my
question is : did you also checked with gfortran 4.4 version?

Regards,
Denis
