Dear Jean-Emmanuel,

Alberto has already explained the EII- vs fluorescence-X-ray topic
exhaustively. Let me just add that MCNPX is not restricted to K-lines
only. See e.g. the ancient LA-5240-MS LANL Report ("MCP code
fluorescence-routine revision", 1973) by C.J. Everett and E.D. Cashwell,
which forms the basis of all subsequent MCNP/X implementations.

Cheers,
Michele
