Re: [fluka-discuss]: Filter on resnuclei scoring

Hi Vittorio,

thanks for the hint. However, the option is not documented in the manual and the release version 2011.2b.5 unfortunately doesn't recognize it. One gets an abort message like

*** Unable to resolve name element RESNUCLE in card ***

AUXSCORE RESNUCLE -300100. TARGET TARGET

Might it be that this feature was restricted to a development version? I also heard about it from other users.

Cheers

Chris

Dear Chris,
I would use the WHAT(2) of AUXSCORE
<= -100.0 Isotope coding. To select atomic number Z, mass
number A and isomeric state M
                         what(2)= -(Z*100+A*100000+m*100000000).
Z=0 means all atomic numbers for the given A,
A=0 includes all mass numbers for a given Z,
M=0 includes all ground and isomeric states.
To select only the ground state set M=9

but maybe I miss the point of your question?
Best,
V.

Dear all,

Does anyone know by chance if and how it is possible to filter the scoring of a specific isotope via the RESNUCLE card? It seems that AUXSCORE is not applicable and I tried to implement a usrrnc.f routine which sets the weight (WEE) to zero for isotopes that I’m not interested in. However, it didn’t seem to have an effect even though I could confirm that the routine was called.

Thanks a lot
Chris
