Dear all:

Actually, do not try only 1 job and do not try only 1 job per core but
try all integers between these values. Also try 1 more job than the
number of cores. That might seem like a bad idea but it is not always
slower to use 1 more job than the number of cores. Try these different
numbers to find out what works well for your situation.
