[fluka-discuss]: Material card

Dear Experts,

I’m a novice of Fluka. Recently, I wish to transport neutrons (a part of them with energy less than 20 MeV) generated by proton, and there is a material of ordinary polyethylene (CH2) as shielding in the model. Firstly, I define individual element (C & H) with low-mat card, as shown in figure below. And now I have a little confusion about the density of individual element, which is used to define compound (or alloy, mixture), in the material card. Is it mass density of natural free element (such as the density in Elements Table in Fluka) or weight of corresponding element in the compound/alloy/mixture per volume or something else?

    Thanks.

    Best regards,

    致
