Hello, everybody!
Dear experts, I am really need in your help. My question is connected
with the production of 6He in 7Li(y,p)6He reaction. From fluka
simulations yield of helium-6 = 1.4 x 10 7+/-6.2% atoms/s per 1 mA of
electron beam and yield of protons = 4.2 × 10 8 +/-1.9% atoms/s per 1 mA
of electron beam. Therefore, I have following questions:
1) We expect that yield of helium-6 will be more, because we are now
experimentally obtain about 4.5 x 10 7 helium-6 per 1 mA. Also, I'm
interested in the fact that yield of protons and helium-6 so very
different. Why is this so?
May be I have mistake in my code...
Thank you!!!
