Hi all,
I am a sysadmin for a user group who use Fluka/Flair etc on RedHat linux on PC architectures. We were using a Redhat v6 rack workstation and it's fluka install recently stopped working, usually in these circumstances I simply upgrade to the latest version of both Fluka and Flair however in this case it seems that fluka2011.2c-3 is no longer compatible with Redhat v6 (we were using fluka2011.2c-1)
So the basic question is this, can the latest Fluka be rebuilt from source using only the glibc 2.12 which is available on RHv6 ?
If not is a version of fluka2011.2c-2 available and is it compatible with Redhat 6's limited glibc install. I'd rather not go as far as to build a whole chroot environment just to run fluka, if it came right down to it I'd rather upgrade the whole machine, however our experience/support of redhat v7 is fairly limited at the moment thanks to its changes.
Thanks in advance
Duncan
