Thank you for your reply. I'm afraid that I really do need more compounds/mixtures. I'm working on improving (i.e., adding more detail) to the ATLAS Upgrade detector. This problem arose when I had implemented half of one additional detector, and there are at least two more additions to come. I assume that I need to complete the request form to have access to the source code.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for users to increase these values by themselves since they are used in the precompiled libflukahp.a library (when you recompile, you actually don't recompile this library). The max number of compounds/mixtures is presently 2400, which is already a lot. Do you really need more?

I am getting the following error message from Fluka (2c-3 installed from tarball of 64-bit binaries):
*** Too many compound cards. Increase the Icomax (and maybe Mxxmdf) ***
*** parameters inside include DIMPAR ***
I tried increasing both ICOMAX and MXXMDF in the file $FLUPRO/flukapro/(DIMPAR) and recompiling, but this doesn't seem to help. Can I fix this in the binary version, or do I need to recompile from the source code? Thanks for any assistance.
