You need also to compile the modified routine with the lfluka script:
> $FLUPRO/flutil/lfluka -o myfluka -m fluka mgdraw_modified.f
as it is described in chapter 13 of the manual.

Please consider that the mgdraw dumps lots of info, so you may want to change it.
This is might not be an easy task for a beginner.

The problem you have with the USRBDX is that you ask for minimum energy of 2 MeV in the scoring, while your beam is 10 keV.
As final remark, the gamma generated by low energy neutrons are treated in the framework of multi-group, as
documented in chapter 10.3.1 of the manual.

P.S. Please keep the exchange on the FLUKA mailing list.

Dear luigi,

I'm glad you can answer my questions. My input file is the attachment 02.inp.
For the second problem, I changed the UNFORMATTED to FORMATTED for the subroutine mgdraw.f,but the “$FLUPRO/flutil/rfluka - e $FLUPRO/user/mgdraw 02” can't run. How can I make an executable file run and see the output data of collision tape?
For the fourth question, the usrbdx output as shown in figure 1, the desired output is shown in figure 2. How can I get the figure 2?

Thanks

Dear FLUKA experts,

I'm a beginner.I want to ask a few questions.
1. Input file in /home/fluka / 01, user program user1. f in $FLUPRO/user, the process is:
cd /home/fluka/01
$FLUPRO/flutil/fff $FLUPRO/user/user1.f
$FLUPRO/flutil/lfluka -o $FLUPRO/user/user1 -m fluka $FLUPRO/user/user1.o
$FLUPRO/flutil/rfluka -e $FLUPRO/user/user1 01
Is it right?
It’s correct. Maybe you can check those slides<https://indico.cern.ch/event/442634/contributions/1096524/attachments/1183405/1714431/02_Installation_2015.pdf> from the FLUKA course (page 14 and following).

1. 2. Data are written on the collision tape in unformatted. How to modify the subroutine and then get a visual format file?
Which type of scoring are you referring to?
Normally Flair can handle them.

2. 3. I'd like to know the whole process of FLUKA running. But I did not find the main program of the FLUKA source files, only the user, auxiliary and compiler source files. Can you give me a 4. share? (I'm not modify the program, just want to learn about the program.)
FLUKA sources are not available. Please refer to the licence as it is printed out at the beginning of an output file.

3. 4. For low energy neutron and material effect, gamma photons can be produced. For photons with energy less than 1MeV, the image is very good, but it is not good for the photon energy higher than 2MeV. For example, I want to get the image is in Figure 1, but it is in Figure 2. When the neutron reaction produces photons, photon energy is the energy of paragraphs, or the beginning of a single energy is turned into a section by section, which is the right one?
Not clear what you are comparing, also because you did not send the FLUKA input file.
Please remember that low energy neutron have a group treatment in FLUKA (chapter 10 of the manual) and the gamma production induced by neutrons is treated in a multigroup scheme as well.

1.
2. Thanks
