Hi Raul,
It is always safer to use the build-in scoring of fluka.
EVENTBIN does score energy deposition per region, you have to use the
special user-defined 3d binning no.8, then you have the possibility to
score the value in a user space defined by 2 integers indexes and one
floating point.
The default is that the first one is the region number, second the
lattice and the floating point pseudorapidity.
So I would recommend to use something like this
EVENTBIN 8.0 ENERGY 50.0 100.0 0.0
10000.0Energy
EVENTBIN 0.0 0.0 -10000.0 1.0 1.0 1.0&
and compile fluka with the modified attached routine fusrbv.f that
changes the last floating point variable and force it to be zero.
Cheers
Vasilis

Subject: mgdraw
Dear fluka experts
I have 38 scintillator panels in my simulation and would like to
dump energy deposited in the scintillator panels per primary, ie
in an event by event way. Would like to take into account energy
deposited by charged particles (~2MeV energy deposition per cm for
minimum ionizing particles) and hydrogen recoils with quenching
taken in to account. I looked at the manual, EVENTBIN doesnt allow
me to do a per region dump, so I looked into mgdraw.f and it looks
like I could get energy deposition per region per event by summing
each energy deposition that occured in the a region within the event
in ENDRAW, and then dumping it the sum in EEDRAW.
I am not getting the ~10MeV peak for a 5cm thick scintillator panel.
Could you give me some orientation on how to dump the energy deposition
in a per region per event way? i attach my mgdraw.f
Thanks in advanced
Raul
