Hi Sumaira:

The beam info should be assembled in a dicom file, if you use a Treatment Plan System to generate it.
You can convert the plan file to a list of FLUKA usrini card with Flair. All other dicom files like CT series, RTDose, etc. can be handled with flair.

The most difficult part is, you need to code your own program in usrini.f and source.f, to handle the information in the usrini cards.
You can find the process in the Medical_Applicant.pdf, as George gives.

One point is that all the operations above is based on Flair 2.2.x, rather than the newest version 2.3.x, please be careful.

Junyu

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: FLUKA RT input file

Dear Team,
I am stuck at some points to create an RT input file for proton simulation. At first step , I have got a 19MeV beam energies from Eclipse treatment plan in order to cover a 10by10by10 , water filled phantom.
Now I have created a water phantom in Fluka with the same dimensions and facing problem for the followings,
how to define the the beam direction according to the eclipse planning
how to define SSD and innocenter position  etc
any screen shots for input file would be appreciated and of great help for me please.

Many Thanks,
Sumaira
