    in real life the gamma generation IS in competition with other processes,
    so with FLUKA you cannot avoid their production (by means of the WHAT(2)
    of the EMFCUT card with SDUM = PROD-CUT you can set the lower threshold
    for "explicit" gamma electromagnetic production, but anyway processes
    producing gammas - e.g. bremsstrahlung - are taken into account, and
    moreover gamma production from hadronic interactions is on).
    In order to neglect photons in transport and scoring you can use the card
    DISCARD.
