dear vahan,
the problem now is that you set, as suggested, an absorption coefficient,
however you chose a value that is much too large! With that, 99.8% of the
photons are absorbed (the value in what(2) is in cm-1 : the inverse of the
mean path length...). I tried with 1.0, and I got photons ut. Clearly, if
you wish to estimate in a quantitative way how many photons you have, you
should find out what is the correct value for your material.
Then: you saw only the scintillation photons (again) because the cherenkov
and trd are much less, none of them managed to go out.
About the usyield: it does give results. As you set it now, it gives again
en energy spectrum, integrated over all angles. Is this what you wanted?
If you want an angular distribution you should revert the scoring
quantities. If you want energy over such a wide interval, consider using
log intervals.
In any case, I suggest you to have a look at the scoring lecture in one of
the course programs from the website, and read carefully the manual
