Fluka 2011.2b supported compilers

Hi,

Would anyone be so kind to share some opinions, experience with or guidance as to which OS is best placed as a Fluka platform, today?...

I find myself caught between the labeling of the 64bit version as "tentative" and "beta", the requirement for g77 of the 32bit version, the gfortran >= 4.6 not default on at least two major/production OS (RHEL and Debian)...

What does one use nowadays to build and maintain a Fluka platform?...
